Shipping
There is FREE SHIPPING on all furniture products on our website! We will ship your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method possible. If the product is a special-order item, transit time from the manufacturer to your home can vary, but in most cases takes from 7-12 weeks. Our FREE basic shipping includes:
· curb side delivery to your house, apartment or office building (WHITE GLOVE shipping is available for Massage Chairs when requested)
· within continental 48 states only
· does not apply for Hawaii and Alaska
· East and West coast delivery - 1-2 weeks
· due to our coastal locations, shipping time to Midwest region, West South Central and Mountain US divisions - 2-3 weeks
We sometimes run into areas around the country where our trucks are unable to travel due to physical limitations or legal restrictions on vehicle size. Shipment restrictions to remote locations may apply. Providing service to and from less populated or accessible domestic areas carries higher operating costs. For us to complete these deliveries, we must rent a smaller truck to accommodate the situation. When this occurs, we will notify you of the situation and give you a new quote for delivery based on the extra expenses we will incur due to the limitations. If you are unhappy with the quote, we can cancel the order. Some items cannot be shipped to remote locations. If a product cannot be shipped to remote locations, the notification email will be sent to you with the details. We apologize that we are unable to provide you with all of the destinations of these limited access areas, some islands and remote locations.
Shipping for accessories and gift items will vary for each item depending on size.
Stock Guarantee
Each lead time varies based on many different factors. Some of our warehouses stock items that can be shipped within 2-3 days. Other items require a longer time (e.g. 3-6 days). Some products are marked as "special order items" that increase shipping time up to 12 weeks or even 16 weeks. We update the inventory every 48 hours. Customers with orders placed on weekends will be contacted on the next business day.
Damages
You must thoroughly inspect all packages and boxes when they are delivered. Failure to do so bars the customer from recovery for undiscovered damages. As per the policies and regulations of the freight companies, shipping liability is transferred to the customer once goods are delivered and signed for. Please do not automatically assume that the contents of your packages are undamaged, simply because the boxes appear intact. Even if the truck driver is impatient or rushed, please keep in mind that this transfer of liability is taking place, making the customer ultimately responsible for undiscovered damages.
Claims
Although it rarely happens, if there is any damage, and by indicating the nature of damage in writing, all parties then have proof of delivery documentation and the issue can then be easily addressed and resolved. However, if you do not indicate the damage, it absolves all parties from any further liability. And if a carton has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "product damaged" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. If possible, please note down what part of the item and/or order. This simply ensures that if there is any damage, it will be easy for all parties to take care of the problem.
Also, it is imperative that you report any damage by e-mail to support@furnishedforlife.com within 24 hours from receipt. Otherwise, we will not be able to file a claim to recover the cost and replace and/or repair the damaged item.
Refusal
If you refuse delivery of the item when it reaches your home or place of business, you will be charged for all shipping costs. You will also be charged for any bank credit card fees that have been incurred along with handling and restocking fee imposed on us by our manufacturers and suppliers. Please note that orders can only be canceled before they ship. If you refuse an order, it will fall under our standard return policy, which is subject to a deduction of round-trip shipping from your refund. We cannot cancel an order unless we receive your request in writing prior to shipment. We also cannot cancel or change a special order (e.g. upholstery) once the order has been placed. There are no exceptions.
Warranty
Warranties are provided for Massage Chairs only by the manufacturer. Please see Infinity Massage Chairs' policy for more details.
Manufacture Defects
It is up to the manufacture to evaluate and consider any defects in craftsmanship of the products. Any claims for factory fault should be emailed within 72 hours of receival. In addition to the brief description of the problem, 2-3 digital pictures should be included with the message. It is important that we have a clear close-up picture or two if the issue is cracks, stains, chips, paint errors, or any visible defects. All other manufacturing defects must be reported to us with a description of the issue. All claims take 2-5 days before the final answer. A new replacement part is shipped within 2 days if in stock.
Returns
The Company reserves the right to examine and inspect all returned and exchanged items. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. All merchandise that is returned to us must be packed in original boxes with original packing material. All returns are subject to the shipping fee. The shipping fee includes BOTH the freight charges that were paid to deliver the merchandise to your location and shipping it back. If an order was shipped from our warehouse and order cancellation is requested, it falls under our standard return policy with shipping charges.
Returns can be accepted within thirty days (30 days) of receival. Merchandise that has been assembled will not be accepted for a refund. Products that are built-to-order (custom orders, special purchases) are not eligible for return. In the event if the order is requested to be returned due to damages or defects, it will fall under our standard return policy. Customers will be refunded via the same method in which the item was purchased or via check from The Company Refunds via check are typically issued within 3 business days of final approval.
Chargebacks
The Company does not accept or honor chargebacks and returns without our express written consent. We ask that you exercise common business courtesy and notify us of any issues so that we have an opportunity to address any concerns and amicably reach a solution. Please do not request a chargeback from your credit card company during the return process. Due to the time it takes to resolve chargeback disputes, it is usually better to be patient and wait for the return process to run its course. If a chargeback has been submitted, we will not be able to credit you for your return until the chargeback mediation process has been completed. This process can take up to 180 days.
